Wikipedia articles on Buddhism say that there is no clear opinion on the issue of vegetarianism in Buddhism. Don't know where this Naresh got his facts on Brahmins eschewing their meat eating habits to become like Buddhists!anonymous cowardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02246355327428012961noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4165706954654611656.post-38086130549807045602008-04-15T16:21:00.000+01:002008-04-15T16:21:00.000+01:00nice post. got here through varnam.nice post. got here through varnam.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4165706954654611656.post-35019179502138867172008-04-15T15:38:00.000+01:002008-04-15T15:38:00.000+01:00Interesting post. Hinduism's revival with major league incorporation of Buddhist ideas has got to be a key reason for Buddhism's demise. I am sure that is not the only reason and the reasons you quote above may have played a part as well. Please tell me how Jainism dissappeared in Tamilnadu? I believe there are a lot of similarities between that and Buddhism's dissappearance.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
