Taliban behead Sikh youths they kidnapped in Pakistan

Speaking to an old Sikh friend of mine here, he told me about this and that there seems to be some meetings arranged this week and some kind of protests
might happen in the UK.

Also, more worryingly, he said that this is going to push the Sikhs more into the BNP lap. Remember that the first Non White member of the BNP is going to be a Sikh. The Sikhs have a rather torrid history with the Muslims going back hundreds of years and more recently during Partition time. This isn't going to help at all.

I quote:

NEW DELHI: In what threatens to cast a shadow on the upcoming Indo-Pakistan talks scheduled for February 25, three Sikh youths were beheaded by the Taliban in Pakistan’s Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA) region after they allegedly refused to convert to Islam. Their severed heads were dumped at a gurudwara in Peshawar.
The Sikh youths — identified as Jaspal Singh, Sarabjit Singh and Baronat Singh — had gone to realise the money owed to them by some people in the FATA region adjoining Afghanistan, when they were abducted by the Taliban militia. They were allegedly told by the Taliban to embrace Islam or face death. When the Sikh youth refused, their heads were chopped and sent to the Bhai Joga Singh Gurudwara in Peshawar.
A sizeable number of Sikhs lived in the tribal belt, particularly Aurakzai Agency, till the Taliban imposed jiziya or religious tax on them in 2009. Most members of the community, faced with increasing pressure from the Taliban to convert to Islam, have since fled to cities across Pakistan.

Hope some of the seniors try to calm the hot heads down, but another small brick through the window of coexistence.

The BNP’s internal inconsistencies

I have been discussing this issue desultorily in a tory group. This issue being the attempts by the BNP to now let non-White people into the political party to avoid the impact of the discrimination act. Anyway, I find it very funny and amusing to read about this. Just the very idea of the BNP trying to recruit non white people to support a party whose policy is to chuck out the said non white people is ferociously funny. This is what I wrote on an email:

This promises to be a most promising sociological and political development but ultimately destined for failure if history is any guide.  I am hard pressed to think of any other historical example where a situation like this has succeeded without changing the home exclusivist party irrevocably. The non whites will be looked as quislings by their fellow group members or mere tokens by others or plain mad.

When the exclusive party really wants to form a broad tent manifesto to really attract more members, it has to spend an extraordinary amount of time and resources. And the move leftward will splinter the party on the right. There are couple of excellent books on this evolution and behavior of extreme parties. Will dig it out sometime.

And then replied to a query about its narrowness:

I am not so sure. Based upon my review of its manifesto, i cannot see any part of the manifesto which is anywhere near the centre or even right or left of centre. The idea behind the concensus is what defines the centre. If one draws a multi dimensional matrix with its social, economic, political and diplomatic policies, it will be several standard deviations to the left (and in some cases, to the right).
Secondly, as I said, the historical evidence suggests that it will remain in the extreme end always if it sticks with its rather interesting policies.
I am also not sure why asian and black citizens would join in. After all, the party actually does not consider them as indigenous (their definition seems to be based upon the level of melanin in their skins, preferably something weird called as white european...). So if blacks and asians do join in, presumably they would do so in the full knowledge that its like turkeys voting for christmas.
I dont think I have come across anybody who is a black/asian who is supporting the bnp based upon this race based immigration policy? They might say that they hate say romanian immigration, but when faced with the rather unhappy logical conclusion that if the BNP does come to power, not only the romanians will stay back (white european race), its the non white population which will be invited to leave. Would love to hear if you have read about anybody who is non white who says so?
And muslims joining the BNP because of afghanistan withdrawal? Hmmm, could you suggest some examples of any muslims who have said so?
But this promises to be quite interesting to see the gymnastics it performs. It is absolutely fascinating to watch.
As I mentioned, I didnt find anything in the historical record, and I went back to check on the journal articles as well as books which would lead me to consider this step to have any chance of broadening the BNP's electroral base without compromising on its basic principles and splintering. The odds are that it will splinter before it went broad based.
Anyway, lets see...

When a Sikh chap announced that he wants to join the BNP, this is what I wrote:

Heh. The inconsistencies just keep on piling up. Reminds of that movie, Mel Gibson and that black fella. Who go to the South African embassy of yore and pointing to the black chap, say that he wants to emigrate to south Africa. The face of the immigration official was priceless. Mr Singh doesn't seem to have twigged to the racial aspect yet.

…..

oh! what I meant was the immigration reviews that the BNP seem to go for are based upon race. No? Its not purely religious so to say. In effect, he is supporting a party which is asking for the voluntary or otherwise repatriation of people like him. As I said, turkeys voting in the affirmative for christmas :)

…..

We are mixing up two things here. 1. Anti Islam feeling and 2. Anti non White immigration.
Any non White fella will fall foul of one or both of these policies. For mr Singh to actually support the first but not the second doesn't really make sense to me.
Why support the first when the result will be immaterial to him as he would be on a plane with the Muslims as well? I know this is a theoritical question but as I said, this is absolutely fascinating :)

It is a pressure group and for what its worth, its working. I am a fervent believer that the state has to be colour blind and in its infinite wisdom, this government has actually given in too much to caring about minorities and not enough about what British means. And I do not consider being British is defined by the colour of skin but the strength of character, history, etc. etc. :)

……..

But it was with some pleasure that I found myself being vindicated to a certain extent. I quote from this site.

Now however, things seem to be coming to a head with the resignations of former contender for the BNP leadership (in a rigged election that he couldn’t possibly win) Chris Jackson (pictured), his former campaign manager Mike Easter and someone named Kev Bryan, who was apparently the Rossendale Branch Organiser. The resignations are announced in an open letter posted on the mostly defunct jackson4leader site:

‘Disbandment of reform Group

What is the point of the BNP if you admit foreigners?

Sadly we have come to the conclusion that the BNP is breaking up and there is no practicable likelihood of it recovering.

In our opinion the root cause of the failure is the Constitution of the Party. The Constitution, that is the Party Rules, makes the Party Leader a dictator. The current leader rather than reforming the Constitution toward that of a normal English association has (probably illegally) made alterations to the Constitution making his removal virtually impossible.

The Party is now a nationalist party in name only and has abandoned many of the fundamental principles on which it was founded.

A further major problem is that of money. Under the Constitution, all money is controlled by the Party Leader. The Party Leader appoints the Party Treasurer and Party Auditor. The Leader has carte blanche to dispose of the funds as he pleases.

This has never been a satisfactory situation, and now that the Party is alleged to be turning over a million pounds a year, is nothing short of a scandal. There have been four different Treasurers this year and the 2008 accounts are way overdue. The Party has been fined by the Electoral Commission for late publication of accounts. This is a re-run of last year when the accounts were also late and when published were endorsed by the Auditor as unsatisfactory.

A separate, but related, issue is the Trafalgar Club. This Club raises money directly to support the Party Leader. No accounts for this club have ever been published and they have not been appended to the Party accounts, as clearly they should be.

We recommend that no further money be sent to ‘Head Office’.

Whilst the BNP has been going downhill, the National Front has reformed itself and now is led by a group of reliable people and has the Constitution of a normal democratic association. Consequently, we believe that BNP members should transfer to the National Front.

Mike Easter
Chris Jackson
Kevin Bryan‘

Some more comments on that site makes for very nice reading. Also check out this site.

What next? Well, the BNP has 2 choices as I mentioned, it has to either move to the right and merge with the National Front. Or it has to move to the centre and thus has to lose its exclusivist racist angle. In either case, its in a horn of a dilemma. The problem with simplistic and frankly intellectually challenged (read idiot) policies is that sooner or later, the holes become too big for even morons to swallow. This is why I am relatively sanguine about this party’s progress. It will be a shame but should be good to provide some more fun and games over the next few months and years.

National Socialist Emails

I am a member of several libertarian and conservative lists here in the UK. And i frequently come across BNP members who infest these lists. I frequently wonder why is it that they tend to come into these groups and then I think i found the answer. These knuckle dragging neanderthals who believe in the white race, are happy with shooting immigrants and are basically incoherent in trying to define nationality or race, cannot actually have a conversation with each other. Every thing they see and talk is coloured through the eyes of immigration and race. I mean, their entire existence is tied up in that frame of mind. And the frequent protestations of being a patriot or wrapping themselves in the flag, appealing  to the military, getting into bed with fascists, referring to the images of wartime, hating jews. Pretty much the same. The massive conspiracy theories, the vague muttered imprecations towards the media and mainstream politics.

So it was funny when Little Green Footballs pointed to Wikileaks showed this list of private message :

US National Socialist Movement private emails until 15 Aug 2009 mail archives (chronological)

So like the ones which I read and chuckle. Poor sods, clowns, all of them. Read and giggle.

Babes of the BNP

Thanks to Salil. This made me laugh away to glory. I quote:

You no longer need to be a hatchet-faced National Front refugee to join the whites-only club. The fascist menace no longer wears jackboots. It no longer flags down the number 25 bus with a hearty “Sieg Heil”. Nope, ours is a new, gentler, more airbrushed age. Feminism’s here, so now girls can dig race hate too. As the BNP’s attempts to reposition itself as a mainstream party have advanced its perimeter far beyond the usual crewcuts-n-tats brigade, we spoke to three of the more acceptable new faces of the unacceptable. What a bunch of hotties! Phwoar! Makes you aroused to be British.

Some of the interviews were brilliant: First we have this hottie:

When people say the BNP is a fascist party, what do you think?
Fascist – I don’t understand that word.

Think of Nazi Germany, or 1930s Italy.
I can’t even remember when that happened really, but I’m against them anyway.

You’re against who?
The Germans. I know that sounds evil… I was brought up that way.

But not the Nazis?
No, I don’t agree with that at all.

What’s the best thing about living in Britain today?
I hate Britain, and I want to move to Spain in the next couple of years, ‘cos our country’s not England anymore. It’s very rare for English people to live here anymore. When I went to Lanzarote, I felt more English there than I do here, and that’s no exaggeration.

But won’t you then be an immigrant too?
Yeah but the answer to that is I would go over to their country and respect their country. I wouldn’t go over there and try and do suicidal bombs [sic]. The immigrants that come over to this country should be making this a good country and proud of it and helping this country, but most of them don’t.

As a hypothetical solution to the immigration problem, what about dividing Britain down the middle, and using the left half for immigrants, and the right half for everyone else.
Sorry, I don’t get that. Am I’m being really thick? No. I don’t think so.

Absolutely peed myself laughing my head off. And this is their bedrock support? hehehehe. How funny.

The Blacks are being benefited at the expense of white workers

If you listen to the BNP talk today, this kind of behaviour would not seem amiss to people back from 1866. See this for example. Right now, the BNP is playing on fears that immigrants and non white people are taking housing and benefits which should basically go to the white race.

I quote:

The national debate over reconstruction, and in particular, the Freedman's Bureau, is evident in a campaign broadside from Pennsylvania's gubernatorial campaign of 1866. This cartoon's racist imagery played upon public fears that government assistance would benefit indolent freedmen at the expense of white workers.

Needless to say, it just shows the paucity of their thinking and how racism is still working its way through the world.

And the serpent of discrimination stirs in NI

You might have read about the issue of discrimination, racist attacks on a bunch of Romanian families in Northern Ireland. Here’s a good overview article. I quote:

When the police in Northern Ireland started recording racially motivated crime in 1996 there were just 41 incidents. Last year there were nearly 1,000…..There have been persistent attacks on the newcomers. In April Hungarians, Lithuanians and Slovakians and Poles said they were intimidated out of the area. Dr Jarman said that while an element of loyalism has associations with neo-Nazis he did not believe that paramilitaries have been involved in the latest attacks.

And so it proved, this is tapping into the same contemptible underlying racism which has given rise to the BNP. By and large, the people who are voting for the BNP are the same people who are doing this, the lower socio-economic class, the uneducated class, the class which sees anybody who is not “them” as a threat, the underclass so to say.

The BNP immediately felt that it had to issue a statement: I quote:

“The BNP wishes to state publicly that it considers the mindless violence in Ulster as reprehensible and futile, and wishes to make it crystal clear to all that we have nothing whatsoever to do with the ongoing attacks against the Romanians, regardless of the claims of various political and media commentators,” Mr Griffin wrote.

“The BNP demands that the police in Belfast arrest the criminals behind these attacks and bring them to justice. We also wish to make it clear that the BNP has not been involved with the troubles in any capacity whatsoever. The media, always on the lookout to smear the BNP in any way possible, has been desperately trying to incriminate the party in this wave of violence. We state categorically that this claim is nothing but a pathetic lie of the liberal-left media.

“Blaming the BNP is attractive to media liars and head-in-the-sand politicians who refuse to address the genuine problems caused in working class communities by irresponsible mass immigration.

“But the truth of the matter is that as long as multiculturalism and uncontrolled mass immigration continues to be official policy, we will continue to see inter-communal violence and bloodshed like recently in Belfast. The race riots on the British mainland and the Belfast attacks are, unfortunately, the tip of the multicultural iceberg,” Mr Griffin continued.

“To the brainwashed liberal-left multiracial fanatics of the media and the main parties, any failings in the so-called ‘multiracial society’ must be the work of the BNP.

“We call on the establishment politicians to carefully consider their policies on immigration, social affairs and politically correct policing. These policies undermine the stability of parts of Belfast and Ulster which can ill afford these added strains in the light of that region’s history.

“Ulster has suffered greatly over the years and to see sectarianism replaced by racism would not only be a tragedy but would be the fault of politicians and community leaders who refuse to see the truth,” Mr Griffin concluded.

Nick Griffin’s basic idiocy in echoing conspiracy theories mean that he is a figure of much amusement to me. But that’s not a problem, a man who names his dogs as Anne and Frank as a way to get back at the Jews is simply somebody who lives under a rock. And people who are voting for him, well, see what you are associating yourself with. But the underlying incoherence of this stupid statement, “we condemn the attacks but its their fault for immigrating” was echoed on several conservative lists that I am on.

I was quite shocked to read the casual racism that was being shown. The Roma deserved it. They are criminals. I want to know the other side. This was coming to them. Frankly, many people who I thought were genuinely concerned about their country have shown their underlying discriminatory nature most nakedly. The situation is much worse than what I thought when normally respectable people think that its fine to be openly racist. That’s what they are. I thought of debating them, even pointed out that what is happening to the Romanians in Northern Ireland was the same as what was happening to the White farmers in Zimbabwe. Guess what was the response? That the White farmers are different because they were productive. I mean, talk about not seeing the wood for the trees. Its the casual and targeted racism against a group simply because of their skin colour or nationality which is the common element. Disgusting and made me feel dirty. And then to top it all, they call themselves as Christians.

And you know what the funny bit is? when other terrorists want to disassociate from you. Here’s an interesting comment by the erstwhile loyalist leaders.

Loyalists have been blamed for the spate of attacks, but police said they did not believe that paramilitaries were involved in orchestrating them.

Jackie McDonald, leader of Northern Ireland’s largest loyalist paramilitary group, the Ulster Defence Association, blamed BNP and Combat 18 supporters for the attacks, denying that loyalists had been involved.

A BNP spokesman told the Belfast-based Irish News: “The people of Belfast were always going to get the blame but the source of the problem is these people. They cause trouble wherever they go.”

Poor BNP members and voters, even other people who were at the bottom think you are beyond the pale (pun intended). Contemptible.

How low you are when even other far right parties shun you

What I loved in this particular interview with Geert Wilders is that even he, a committed right winger Islamophobist hates the BNP. His conversations around Islam are ludicrous anyway, and see my previous related note. but this was the best bit, I quote:

In the European Parliament his four MEPs will not ally with the British National party, he said, claiming he had never met a BNP Member. "I understand they talk a lot about blacks and whites. This is disgusting," he said.

Its such a tragedy when even fellow right wingers hate you. I was near dying from laughing at this. How amusing. And this is the party you guys voted for. lol lol lol. How absolutely amusing.

And the racism pours forth

Typically, you can take the man out of the slimy end and put them into the European Parliament but you cannot take the slime out of the man. The man and all what he represents is racist. See his latest utterances.

Mr Brons, who began his political life as a member of the neo-Nazi National Socialist Movement, said he rejected the notion that Black or Asian members of the community could be British, even if they were born here.

He said: "I don't accept the term Black British or Asian British. Britons are the indigenous peoples of these isles."

Asked about someone like Dame Kelly, who was born in Kent of a white English mother and Jamaican father, and served for several years in the Army before becoming one of this country's most successful athletes, he said: "Kelly Holmes is only partially from this country, even if she is an integrated member of the community."

Mr Brons, 61, went on to reject the idea that black footballers, such as Emile Heskey and Jermain Defoe, who represented England against Andorra last Wednesday, could be regarded as British.

He said: "They are British citizens – which is a legal concept – but not British by identity. That's not a pejorative description, it is just stating a fact about their racial identity."

The BNP's ultimate aim – as laid down in its constitution – is a return to a predominately white Britain that existed before the 1948 Nationality Act.

Mr Brons, who well into the 1980s was still praising the NF's skinhead supporters, used to advocate mass forced repatriation of all non-whites. He says he now accepts repatriation would have to be voluntary.

He said: "Compulsory repatriation is not practical now because communities have put down roots. My views have matured and changed."

Quite interesting. I was speaking to few of the BNP supporters on a Tory list and found it very interesting that one cannot split up the issue of race with immigration. Its pretty much clear that its a racist policy if you are against mass immigration but happy to employ white Europeans. This incoherence is so amusing, and when you scratch the surface, you find bewilderment and amazement. Just ask, what does it mean by identity or race? No answer or a blind alley like, people who are born here. Or what we are part of Germanic races. HA! silly sods, you mean Aryan? If so, by language, most of the Indo Germanic linguistic family is also European. More I see and read their utterances, the funnier I find them.

What’s more important is that I am now seeing the BNP supporters realising what kind of animal they have voted for. This veneer of respectability is being removed and the underlying ugliness of their position is being exposed. But on the other hand, the political parties have to do something about immigration and crack down on it. Otherwise this cancer will keep on spreading. But to let perfectly respectable people understand what the BNP are up to, they need to be constantly asked about their positions and policies. Its obvious that the incoherence of their positions will constantly be made into a laughing stock. They cannot help it, they have to be steadfast to their manifesto otherwise they will get accused of being liars and untrustworthy, and if they do remain steadfast, they are racist. Heh. Lovely place to be in, eh?

Royal British Legion tell Nick Griffin to stop wearing poppy badge

While I am sure Nick Griffin has a right to wear the poppy, I found it amusing to note that the real holders of the poppy image, the British Legion, got furious with him. I quote:

The Royal British Legion has accused Nick Griffin, the BNP leader, of trying to politicise "one of the nation's most treasured and beloved symbols" after he repeatedly wore a poppy badge during the European parliament election campaign.

In an open letter in tomorrow's Guardian the armed forces charity said it had written privately to Griffin last month "appealing to his sense of honour" and asking him not to wear the badge or any other emblem associated with the legion.

Griffin, one of two BNP candidates elected to the European parliament last week, ignored the request and wore the badge at campaign events including the party's televised election broadcast.

Yesterday the British Legion demanded that Griffin stop using the armed forces to further the BNP's agenda.

"The poppy is the symbol of sacrifices made by British armed forces in conflicts both past and present and it has been paid for with blood and valour," the letter says.

"True valour deserves respect regardless of a person's ethnic origin, and everyone who serves or has served their country deserves nothing less … [our national chairman] appealed to your sense of honour. But you have responded by continuing to wear the poppy. So now we're no longer asking you privately. Stop it, Mr Griffin. Just stop it."

But then, as I have said so many times, Nick Griffin and the BNP aren't exactly the brightest lights in the political firmament. They suffer heavily because of the incoherence of their platform and are desperate to grab any kind of respectability. So they go about trying to rub up against true national hero’s like the soldiers or the war. But it usually backfires. Here’s another example:

The legion's demand follows criticism of the BNP from Winston Churchill's family after the party used his image and quotes from one of his speeches in its campaign. Churchill's grandson, Nicholas Soames, described the BNP as "monstrous" and said its use of Churchill was "offensive and disgusting".

Another one.

The BNP was also caught up in a dispute with 1940s singer Vera Lynn after she objected to the party selling copies of her White Cliffs of Dover CD on its website to fund its European election campaign.

But guess this? I mean, come on, Nick, are you really THAT pathetic that you are going to say this?

Griffin said he had worn the badge in solidarity with injured British soldiers returning from Afghanistan. He added that he would stop wearing it if troops recovering in hospitals in the UK were not charged to watch television.

Bleah, you are such an incoherent idiot. Do you actually know there are non-white soldiers in the army? And you are actually asking for benefits for them? surely that goes against your manifesto, no? lol. What an idiot.

The BNP is not racist – they just bumped into KKK

HA!

PHOTOS have emerged of BNP leader and north west European Parliament candidate Nick Griffin with a Ku Klux Klan leader. Griffin, who is contending the north west seat in the European Parliament elections next month, is pictured sharing a platform with American Nazi Stephen 'Don' Black, who is banned from Britain for stirring up extremism.
Black is on the list of banned people made public by Home Secretary Jacqui Smith yesterday as an example of behaviour that would not be tolerated here. Griffin and Black - founder of racist website Stormfront and formerly a KKK grand wizard - appeared on the same bill at an 'American Renaissance' conference in 2005 and 2006.

I am fast coming to the conclusion that everybody who did vote for BNP is actually a racist. If they are not, they are plain and simply stupid. And I mean that in the full medical sense of the word. They are intellectually incoherent. If I wasnt bought up properly and still dread my Ma, I would be laughing at these village idiots for believing the pure and simple incoherent pap being shoved out by the BNP. But people are known by the company one keeps.

UK poison plot against Asians, blacks busted

The rise in the BNP is inexorably going to give rise to more and more terrorist events such as this. The fact that there are people stupid enough to judge people on the colour of their skins rather than the contents of their characters tells me that this is going to happen more. And why not? We have now got the proud honour of claiming that an woman from the BNP has been democratically elected to public office in the UK.

But back to the terrorist plot. Here’s the link and I quote:

LONDON: A deadly terror plot by suspected white supremacists was busted when the police recovered dangerous ricin meant to poison ethnic minorities in the UK. It is feared the lethal nerve toxin was intended for use as part of a biological weapon against blacks and Asians, the Daily Express reports.
The fatal agent, for which there is no antidote, is 6,000 times more poisonous than cyanide. An amount the size of a grain of salt is enough to kill an adult. During an anti-terror raid at a terraced house in Burnopfield, the police found the ricin in a jam jar in a kitchen cupboard.
Durham's assistant chief constable Mike Barton said: "This shows that the terrorist threat in the UK is real. We believe the people involved to be white supremacist extremists and one of our lines of inquiry was that they were going to target people from ethnic minorities." The house in Burnopfield, and another in nearby Annfield Plain, were raided by police on Tuesday. ccording to the government labs in Edinburgh, the jam jar had contained the ricin for up to two years.
The jar will be taken to the Ministry of Defence's chemical biological warfare labs at Porton Down, Wilts, for further tests.

White supremacists are what you can point to the BNP and extremists? Well, the cockroaches are coming out now…

More bewilderment at the British National Party

The British National Party, is a rabidly nationalist and racist party. On several conservative mailing lists, their members are found. I will be blunt about this, anybody who joins the BNP is clearly from the shallow end of the gene pool. I mean, you are going to establish policy on the basis of genetics and the level of melanin in your skin. It is also not surprising that most of the members of that august party are usually less than literate or even educated. No worries, as long as they have an association, and are allowed to participate in the political process without violence, that's fine. After all, even algae have a right to the political process, if they can arrange to do so, that is.

But here's something that I read recently. About how the BNP is trying to reach out to kids. Now what's so amusing is that most silly and stupid bunch of people seem to gather around to see them. I loved this piece about this chap.

'britishboy7' turns up on the friends list of 'loyallands', as well as that of 'StormOverEurope14' and numerous other BNP members and supporters.

On his YouTube page, 'britishboy7' declares that he 'hate[s] muslims' and that he is 'an english knight'. According to him, Muslims 'rape, pilage and murder white and non believers. Aswell as grooming young white, black, shiek, hindu and even budist girls for sex and get them hooked on drugs' (sic). He believes 'Its time we got some sence and inteligance back into our sociaty' (sic), and how might we do this? By joining the BNP of course!

'britishboy7' declares: 'IM A PROUD SUPPORTER AND FUND RAISER OF THE BNP. The one and only party for me will always be the BNP'.

This proud supporter of the BNP subscribes to a lot of YouTube channels, including ones dedicated to 'lesbian kissing', 'lesbian foot worship', 'foot worship', and even gay male 'sock worship'. Presumably this is all strictly for 'research purposes'.

I was laughing my head off, gay male sock worship? lol lol lol. And then he joins Nazi sites. Perhaps BritishBoy7 has forgotten that the Nazi's merrily pushed all homosexuals into the concentration camps? I quote:

Between 1933-45, more than 100,000 men were registered by police as homosexuals ("Rosa Listen" or "Pink Lists"), and of these, some 50,000 were officially sentenced. Most of these men spent time in regular prisons, and an estimated 5,000 to 15,000 of the total sentenced were incarcerated in concentration camps. It is unclear how many of these 5,000 to 15,000 eventually perished in the concentration camps. The leading scholar Ruediger Lautman however believes that the death rate in concentration camps of imprisoned homosexuals may have been as high as 60%. Homosexuals in camps were treated in an unusually cruel manner by their captors, and were also persecuted by their fellow inmates. This was a factor in the relatively high death rate for homosexuals, compared to other "anti-social groups".

More recently however German state television channel Deutsche Welle updated this figure to "almost 55,000" deaths following the study of documents from archives in East Germany that had been inaccessible to researchers for decades after the war.

I am sure BritishBoy7 would do good to learn this, if he does carry on and the Nazi's do come into play, then he wouldnt have much chance to deal with gay sock worshipping (what on earth is that?)

What a bunch of wankers, but according to the BNP website:

The Young BNP’s ‘Billy Brit’ video channel on YouTube has proven to be yet another highly successful initiative in engaging with young people, reports Mike Howson, national youth co-ordinator.

“In particular, the latest Billy Brit video, called ‘The Reds Smell’, has proven to be very popular,” Mr Howson said. “By using music and humour, we are able to deliver a powerful message which finds resonance with all those amused at the Communist rabble who oppose the BNP.”

Sighs, welcome to the BNP.

Extracurricular lesson in free speech

I feel for this lady. In an academic institution or outside, for people to use these skin and race based classifiers is perpetuating these issues. And this is from a non-white, non-christian man. Please do not judge me by the melanin type in my skin or my race (what is it anyway, asian? so what's the common element between me and a Japanese?). It is abundantly clear that people who believe in these classifiers are racists, are up to some kind of hanky panky, are economically involved (i.e. getting money for propagating this idea) or are trying to get some kind of benefits/screw the public. Absolute idiots, and that too in a University. Fie on them. They are able to see race but not character, which is far too much telling on these sad gits. I had an amusing conversation on a british conservative list with this chap who was a supporter of the BNP. And what i told him that under no circumstances will I take him seriously since his way of thinking is based upon melanin levels. How silly!

Criticism of ethnic-themed dorms merits denunciation as a racist.

In my Politics of American Government class last winter, I learned that there are limitations on our right of free speech, limits delineated by terms such as "fighting words," "clear and present danger" and libel. During that same term, I also discovered just how restrictive many college students' idea of free speech really is.

In an editorial for a school newspaper, I criticized how the school's four ethnic theme dorms (African-American, American Indian, Asian and Latino) stereotyped minorities by categorizing individuals by race rather than considering broader personal experiences and values. The response: How dare I condemn the established multicultural institutions on campus! Didn't I know that I had no business commenting on the issue since, as one student stated on a campus forum, I was just a "white, libertarian girl from the O.C." Considering how often students refer to their right of free speech when they criticize the school or presidential administration, their reactions to my article were stunning.

I received so many caustic e-mails and messages the weekend after my article was published that my residential adviser actually asked me to inform him if I received any tangible threats. Luckily, these messages were just irrationally irate, not violent. Students accused me of being a racist and an ignoramus because no one they knew had ever objected to the houses. One black girl asked me to be her "Facebook friend," suggesting I didn't have any minority friends or else I wouldn't have written the article. Most students did not respond to my arguments, opting to personally slander me.

One boy called me a racist and then told me that he was "greatly offended by the white perspective that [I] hold." Many minorities actually belittled me for suggesting that the school should evaluate them on the content of their character rather than the color of their skin. I wonder if I had quoted Martin Luther King's speech verbatim if they still would have accused me of having a racist, "white perspective." "

A few students complained that I used the word "black" in lieu of "African-American." But they didn't have a problem with my using "white" instead of "Caucasian."

As I've learned in my humanities classes, the words "black" and "Indian" are taboo in academia. Do these words pose a clear and present danger? Only to the person who utters them. But considering the brouhaha that followed my article, they may well be "fighting words." If you use them around college students, prepare for a fight, or at least a scowl. Though I've heard some African-American students call one another "nigger," white students still can't use the neutral term "black."

I felt gratified when some more "open-minded" students responded to my article by calling for an "open dialogue." A few organized a panel discussion on the issue and invited me as a panelist. I agreed, hoping that the discussion might help illuminate my perspective and diffuse some of the hysteria. I didn't know then how broadly, or rather how narrowly, some college students construe the word "dialogue."

The supposedly independent moderator of the panel was the resident director of the black ethnic theme dorm. The four other panelists were current or former residents of the theme dorms, and the entire audience (aside from one student reporter) were either theme dorm residents or their friends. Evidently, the dialogue had only been publicized in the ethnic theme dorms. I was the only one in the room that opposed the dorms. The moderator targeted me with most of her questions and many times took it upon herself to refute my arguments. Those in the audience also grilled me on how I could be so narrow-minded.

The "dialogue" was a travesty. Although the right to free speech supposedly protects minorities, many of the so-called minorities in the room harangued me for openly stating my beliefs. While they refrained from tarring and feathering me, many once again told me that I had no business speaking on the issue of race because I was white. I wondered why they even invited me if I was not allowed to speak about race, which was the focus of the discussion.

I learned that, while students proclaim their own right of free speech, they tend to extend it only to those whose opinions are politically correct.
