Dangerous materials in mosques - leave them there!

Recently, a report was published which identified literature which is present in British Mosques which are full of homophobia, anti-semitism and lord only knows what else (pun intended). Inayat Bunglawala, one of the British Muslim spokespeople says that a robust democracy should be able to handle crap like this. Yes, I do agree with him. Freedom of speech is absolute and despite the fact that some very highly educated Muslims do read this and blow up fellow citizens is not the fault of the principle of free speech.

The fact that other Muslims are offended by Salman Rushdie, or by cartoons or what have you is their loss and stupidity and lack of civilisation and adherence to enlightenment principles. So those fundamentalist Muslims have a reason, they are under the grasp of a totalitarian ideology. What is our excuse for banning these books? Are you seriously recommending a Kristalnacht in London?

Fie on everybody who thinks that these books should be banned.

All this to be taken with a grain of piquant salt!!!
