Amnesty for Illegal immigrants. This is why Nick Clegg will lose

Whoever thought up the idea of giving amnesties to British Illegal immigrants to the LibDems should be shot. And then pulped. And then sent to the USA to be used to plug the leaking pipeline. It has given a huge boost to the BNP and shows that the LibDems are completely out of touch with the common man. I simply cannot understand what they were thinking.

This is an email which I got and its highly simplistic relating to the USA but illustrates what Joe Public in England has such a huge issue with immigration.

You have two families: "Joe Legal" and "Jose Illegal".

Both families have two parents, two children, and live in California .
Joe Legal works in construction, has a Social Security Number and makes
$25.00 per hour with taxes deducted.
Jose Illegal also works in construction, has NO Social Security Number,
and gets paid $15.00 cash "under the table".

Ready? Now pay attention...

Joe Legal: $25.00 per hour x 40 hours = $1000.00 per week, or $52,000.00
per year. Now take 30% away for state and federal tax;
Joe Legal now has $31,231.00.
Jose Illegal: $15.00 per hour x 40 hours = $600.00 per week, or
$31,200.00 per year. Jose Illegal pays no taxes.
Jose Illegal now has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays medical and dental insurance with limited coverage for
his family at $600.00 per month, or $7,200.00 per year.
Joe Legal now has $24,031.00.
Jose Illegal has full medical and dental coverage through the state and
local clinics at a cost of $0.00 per year.
Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal makes too much money and is not eligible for food stamps or
Joe Legal pays $500.00 per month for food, or $6,000.00 per year.
Joe Legal now has $18,031.00.
Jose Illegal has no documented income and is eligible for food stamps
and welfare.
Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays rent of $1,200.00 per month, or $14,400.00 per year. Joe
Legal now has $9,631.00.
Jose Illegal receives a $500.00 per month federal rent subsidy. Jose
Illegal pays out that $500.00 per month, or $6,000.00 per year.
Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays $200.00 per month, or $2,400.00 for insurance.
Joe Legal now has $7,231.00.
Jose Illegal says, "We don't need no stinkin' insurance!" and still has

Joe Legal has to make his $7,231.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline, etc.
Jose Illegal has to make his $31,200.00 stretch to pay utilities,
gasoline, and what he sends out of the country every month.

Joe Legal now works overtime on Saturdays or gets a part time job after
Jose Illegal has nights and weekends off to enjoy with his family.

Joe Legal's and Jose Illegal's children both attend the same school. Joe
Legal pays for his children's lunches while Jose Illegal's children get
a government sponsored lunch. Jose Illegal's children have an after
school ESL program.

Joe Legal's children go home.
Joe Legal and Jose Illegal both enjoy the same police and fire services,
but Joe paid for them and Jose did not pay.

Do you get it, now?

Religious Obsession by Kumud Biswas

Who is obsessed by religion
He is blind
He only kills and gets killed.
Even an atheist is blessed
Because he doesn’t have the vanity of any faith.
Humbly he lights up his reason
Defies the authority of scriptures
And seeks only the good of men.
He who kills as infidels
The followers of other faiths
Dishonors his own faith
He kills the son in the name of the father
Busy only with the rituals
He loses his reason
He hoists a blood-stained flag in his temple
In the name of God
He worships the Devil.
Those who have retained in their creed
The shame of ages, the cruelties and barbarities
With those rubbish
They are building their own prison –
I hear a bugle is blowing
The bugle of universal doom
With his scythe the god of destruction is coming.
Planting him as a stake who comes to liberate
Putting him up like a dividing wall who comes to unite
Flooding the world with poison in his name
Who brings love from a divine source –
They drown sailing in a boat they themselves have scuttled
Yet they blame someone else!
I invoke you O you the Supreme Judge
Please come to end this degeneration of religion
Save those who are deluded by their faith.
Your Altar they have flooded with blood
Please completely break it
Hurl Your thunder at the prison walls of faiths
And bring to this cursed land
The light of reason.

More on the scandal of the European Union Accounts Fraud and Incompetence

I got this email from a list. This level of incompetence and fraud is shocking, and to think that they are doing this with our money. Bleah.

Subject: Re: EU audit
Date: Thu, 8 Apr 2010 10:46:10 +0100
Perhaps I can clarify things a little...
The only part of the EU's spending which is audited and signed off
is the part handled directly by the Commission, and that includes
the cost of the European Parliament. It accounts for less than 10%
of the total.
All the rest comes under what is absurdly known as "shared
management", on which I have waxed lyrical more than once in years
past. Effectively, the EU decides to give money for a project in a
member state or in a candidate country and then expects that
country's government to account for it properly, having added an
agreed percentage to the total cost of whatever is being
funded. (Example, Greece, whose application for subsidies for its
olive groves covers such a large land mass that it can only mean
that olives are grown in the middle of Athens and in the Aegean
Sea. Everybody in Brussels knows it is a scam and they have never
done anything to stop it.)
The Court of Auditors, another poodle of the EU and made up of
appointees from the member states (many of whom are not qualified
accountants, by the way), then supposedly checks on the information
provided, sends staff to a handful of locations to verify the
"facts", and then decides there are too many errors and
unsubstantiated sets of accounts for them to sign off the whole lot.
Added to which, when the EU switched from single-entry book-keeping
to double-entry in 2005 they were unable to agree the closing
balances on the existing accounts, which meant that there were no
opening balances under the new system!
So, in reality, they can NEVER sign off the accounts because they
never knew where they were starting from.
Hope that helps
Ashley Mote
(MEP 2004-2009, and member of the EP's Budget Control Committee
throughout that time)
PS: Double-entry book-keeping was the invention of an Italian monk
some 1500 years ago. Quite why it took the EU until 2005 to catch
up has never been explained.

The Pope visits the UK

As you might know, the Catholic Pope is visiting the UK in a few weeks. Amusingly enough, a young Foreign Office fellow decided to write a memo laying out things he can do while he is here. This list just blew up and the foreign office has apologised to the Vatican and the Church and and and. So i was curious as to what they are talking about?

On the face of it, well, lets see what the face says:

  • Launch of Benedict Condoms: That’s just silly. Now Benedictine wine is ok. Lack of sense of humour there, lol.
  • Review of Vatican attitude on condom use: Well, quite a lot of people have asked the Vatican to change its stance on condoms, but it being one of those regulated established patriarchal churches, it will never allow the health of women or birth control to come into the way of men enjoying their bonking.
  • Bless a civil partnership: Good heavens, treat people equally? allow somebody else other than the church to agree on marriages? the very idea, bah!
  • Reversal of policy on women bishops / ordain woman. Now here’s another point about the Church’s hypocrisy. Have you ever heard of a single good reason why women cannot serve the Lord in the church? Oh! but then it will reduce the power of the wrinkly old white men, no?
  • Open an abortion ward: Abortion is another of those things, they dont have to look after the kids for 9 months, and they wouldn't allow abortion even for rapes or incest or what have you. But then, we know that the church is misogynistic already.
  • Speech on equality: The church? believe in equality? good heavens, NEVER!. It would much rather rabbit on about silly things.
  • Statement on view over adoption. Then again, not everybody can adopt, it can only be people that the church approves of. Lesbians cannot adopt kids, for example. Equality of sexes and humans? NOOOOO, Jesus Christ discriminated men from men, women from women, men from women, Gosh, Mr. Pope, what would Jesus do? Their concern about the unborn child is huge when it comes to abortion but it sort of disappears when it comes to adoption. Hypocrisy.
  • Training courses for all bishops on child abuse allegations: But of course, given the pretty much world wide situation with child abuse, it seems to be systemic. Give them training
  • Harder Line on child abuse. Yes, defrock them and then hand over the bastards to the police to be chucked into jail. And then pay compensation to the kids. And then apologise. Ever think about the fact that we know of the child abuse situation for years now and still nothing from the Pope. In a secular area, the person would be on the child abuse register and in jail within months. But they were let go. Obviously the Pope thinks we are stupid and more importantly, the paedophile priests matter more than the kids. Another frikking hypocritical stance on children and kids versus abortion.
  • Vatican sponsorship for network of AIDS clinics. Oh! yes, they push abstinence, dont they? for a way to treat AIDS? Like their priests are abstinent? And we all know what these abstinent priests got up to, dont we?
  • Meet young unemployed people. Hmm, this is silly, why would young unemployed people want to meet an old man who is obviously in some other world? Just what does he have in common with young unemployed people? He is young, he is employed and as for as people, hmm
  • Apologise for…, good lord, there are huge reasons..
  • Canonise a group? not sure what this is about. Canonise a group? what group? The AA?
  • Announce whistle blowing system for child abuse cases. Why not? but will not, yes?
  • Go to job centre: see young unemployed point above.
  • Debate on abortion: See abortion above.
  • All catholic schools should be free entry to all. But then, the church doesnt like the idea of separation of state and church. So while its fine in taking state funding for kids, it doesnt like to open its entrance to all. Mind you, it does in other countries, I myself studied in a Jesuit school. Its just here that it has problems.
  • Speech on democracy: Why not? nothing wrong with it.
  • Vatican and CoE dialogue, yep.
  • Launch helpline for abused children. See above.

I can see why the Foreign Office got upset, this list has couple of silly ideas but most are actually very hard hitting and truthful. The Pope, as we know, is fundamentalist, hypocritical, discriminatory and frankly a protector of paedophile priests. This would have exposed them. Just like we allow various other tinpot dictators and idiots in here, the Pope will also be allowed in without embarrassing him. Bah
