Sometimes I seriously wonder how these politicians can get up and face the world. On one hand, they dont want the EU reform treaty to be voted by us, then they want the Scottish independence to be voted...., what the hell? are we or are we not allowed to vote in case of matters relating to our sovereignty? All I can think is that Labour is now completely bonkers.

What doctrine of sovereignty are you referring to? In English constitutional law it is the 'unlimited sovereignty of Parliament' or Scottish constitutional law in which it is the 'sovereignty of the people'.
