A hero who gave his life so that his friends can escape gunmen in Iraq has been recommended for Britain's highest civilian honour, the George Cross. I do hope he gets posthumous recognition for his brave deed.
May he rest in peace and may his family rest easy that with the ultimate contribution of his own life, he saved four lives.
