But one of the main things that the author has missed is the whole area around customer service, relationship management, innovation, technology value addition, quality control, etc. etc. etc. Fairly typical article from IT which unfortunately assumes that the technology footprint and requirements will remain the same and not grow.
But, well, I suppose we can do worse than just concentrate on these 10 things. A good checklist, none the less.
