He noted that in just six weeks the price for rice had doubled from 18 pounds to 36 pounds, while the cost of chicken fillets had risen from 25 pounds to 32 pounds. The cost of a range of other ingredients, including ghee and spices, had also gone up dramatically. Due to price rise, he told newsmen that Le Raj's chicken tikka biryani dish will be dropped altogether. For the time being, chicken tikka masala was staying on the menu, but its cost will rise from 8.50 pounds to 9.50 pounds.
Given that Chicken Tikka Masala is the British National Dish, I think the Brits will riot soon on the streets just like the Haitians.
